Automated parking lifts move vehicles via a specialty elevator to eliminate the ramps and unused vertical headroom that take up valuable, expensive space in dense urban areas. After lifting vehicles vertically to an upper floor, the equipment automatically transfers the car or truck horizontally to the correct parking space. Vehicles are stacked vertically, either singly or in multiple rows.
